Rani's Harem ;)SumZ :) September 13 Ayesha & Ali's Wedding - Aug 25th & 27th 2006I know i know...its been a while since I've made an entry...kya karoon...I'm a very bz person yaar!
As many of ya'll know...my really really good friend Ayesha (most of ya'll know her as Ayesha P., Ayesha Patel, or even Portello:
 - luv u Ayesha babes!) got MARRIED!! Yep she has left numerous guys heartbroken... too bad guys...u shouldve made a move earlier...this girl is the sweetest, most chilling... (and yes...one of the hottest) girls i know.. I've known her since high skool and have been thru our fair share of ups and downs....but Aysh has always been a friend through out...I hope her getting married doesnt mean i lost a friend....i have definitely gained a brother-in-law...So lets talk about her nikkah...it was a small event held a couple of days before her wedding ceremony (because Ali bhai couldnt wait!!!;)
I think it really hit me when, after the "kabool hai" her dad came and hugged her and he had tears in his eyes..and Ayesha was pretty distraught herself... those are the moments at any wedding (especially a good friend's) that make me realize that girls truly are "paraaye" and have to leave at some point... and yet...i think thatz when the parents become even more closer to the girl.....
Her mehendi party was amazing (and yes we had a bridal shower for her .... the actions of that nite cannot be disclosed on such a public space!) Her 2 bhabi's (Asma and Saima) really out did themselves...MashaAllah..very cute women...and with even cuter kids....We danced a lot on her girls only mehendi....yea yea.... lets just say that I got everyone's "Meter down"...hehehehhee ;)
August 25th: The big day...Ayesha looked gorgeous in a very new and stylish sharara, a mixture of golds and reds....complimented her very well....I think at some point during the nite i saw Ali bhai drool! (heheheheh....u know it Aysh babes...way to whip a man!;) All her brides maids wore Maroon sarees (a gift of the bride - so sweet of u Ayesh - l luved my saree)... the food was good...the atmosphere was pleasant..and the bride and groom Masha Allah looked happy...wut more could a wedding ceremony need...oh yea...and the cake was amazing too!:) oh and Ayesh, luved the Chocolate Fountain idea...yumm ...mmmm..chocolate :)
August 27th: The Valima..simply put...Ayesha looked STUNNING ....the blue really brought her beautiful features out!! we missed her entrance ...i was rather upset bout that!...but on the brighter side...we seemed to have made an entrance of our own!
Masha Allah..everything went smoothly...Ayesha's in-laws are very sweet, and caring...which is the most important thing..I'm truly happy for her...
Once again...My congratulations go out to the Patel's and the Wadi's... May Allah always keep the New Mr. & Mrs. Wadi as radiant and happy and May Allah bless them with happiness and prosperity...and Insha ALlah lots of healthy kids in the near future...Ameen
May 31 Shabbo & Nadir's Wedding - May 20th -21st, 2006Atlast...i got enough time from my bz schedule!..to wish the happy and Masha Allah perfect couple, who got married during the Victoria Day weekend...It was simply put..AMAZING! Everything went smoothly...
On Friday - May 19 - was her mehndi - actually the real mehendi was the week prior on a Sunday... it was a small but fun affair!....i dont know bout anyone else..but i know i had fun...it was all girlz first (and you know how girlz have fun! - yea yea...dances...songz...etc etc.) and then the guyz came in...with Nadir...good entrance!!!...
After the whole picture session, it was a dholki songz face off between the guy side and girl side... needless to say i was the voice of the group (look..i dont sing well...but i can be loud!!!...) and our resident dhol player (Romz:)!! I'm not really sure who won..cuz it was us against the aunties..we were singing newer songz...they busted out with their more powerful older songz...but in the end...Romzy went crazy and sang "Dulay walay haar gaye" heheheheh....umm...nice attempt babez:)
Saturday was the Nikkah at Nugget Mosque in Scarborough...really nicely done....and the bride looked amazing in a dark pink saree..Gujju style...it looked really good...and Nadir looked smashing in a green and bronze Sherwani...
Sunday was the reception/valima at Bombay Palace...let me tell you..that was awesome!! Our entrance with the bride was on the song "Tu Jahaan mein wahaan" from Salaam Namaste....it was so touching (hehehe..the ten bridesmaids that walked with her practiced a lot!! hahahaha..."one - two - stop/pause - throw petals"...hehehe..Romz ...u da best!) ...
Not only did everythin look perfect...her parentz did the most cutest thing...her dad made his wife sit in the middle of the dance floor(on a chair!), while he danced around her (with 2 napkinz in his handz!!) to the song "oh meri Zohrajabeen"!!! it was soooooooooooo cute!!! then Nadir's side sang...not to be outdone...Shabina's uncles then sang her rukhsati song "Babul ki dua" - a tru classic...
I just wanna wish the new Mr. & Mrs. Shirazi..and the Rangarej-Shirazi families..Mubarak.. May Allah bless the amazing couple with happiness, prosperity...and LOTZ of Children!!! Ameen!
Fanaa ShayariI just watched Fanaa...aawwww....the first half of the movie is soooooo good..second half is kinda ok....but Kajol looked amazin in the entire movie... and Aamir baby....holy...he lookz old...but he hasnt lost his charm...damn...the shaayari was amazing...
People have asked me what fanaa meanz...itz a Sufi word which meanz complete annihilation.. It suppose to signify the experience of "fanaa" in the love of God.....
This shaayari from the movie (which is also in the most amazing song "Mere Haath Mein") is one of my favz...a lil sad...but i can feel his pain...

Speaking of which..As most of ya'll know..my new car...itz cd player is not working...so the entire ride to work today...i was singing this song (I suck mind u...but whoz listenin!)... and suddenly this shaayari popped in my head:

May 27 True Stories! An insider edition to My whacky life :)Hey all,
Itz been a while since I've been on msn..let alone write a blog! yea yea I am a very bz person and u gotta take an appointment to meet me! Seriously, I'm very happy these dayz cuz I am a very bz person...I go to work from 9 to 5...but itz never really 5...more like 6:30...and now on monday and wednesdayz i am takin classes at Erindale (cuz itz close to my work...I work on Mississauga Road and 407...at the Loblaws head office Finance department - I know, nothing to do with anything i have ever studied!!!..but they pay good..treat me good.and have hired me on contract !) and then I hit the gym for a good hour.... when i get home i just watch a lil TV and then hit the sack...the highlight of the day is no more restless, retarded-dreams sleep....just the sleep of exhaustion...ahhhh....Bliss :)
Anywayz...more to the point...thingz have been happenin here in my lil world...weird thingz...the squirrel is back...i think itz a raccoon... i got up to a scraping noise under my bed one mornin around 5:30...and i thought i was havin a dream..and then i hear a thudding/thumping sound.... so i look around thinkin wut mad person is doin construction at this ungodly hour... and then i see it....rite beside my bed.. a big beaver like creature just going at my wall...i swear i just stared at it for a good 5 minz tryin to figure out how it got in and wut itz tryin to do... and then i remembered...there was a hole in my window from last summerz intrusion of the mole... and this time itz large! i gotta change the net!
well...so i tried to get rid of it by scaring it...oh and it got scared....it jumped on to my curtainz...flippin fur ball had massive claws! and the more i tried to scare it the more it climbed up... it was me against the animal..and hell i wasnt bout to lose this battle!...so yea...i took the bottom part of the curtain and wrapped the stupid creature in it...ummm...bad idea...it clawed...i had these big red marks on my armz... so i got pissed...( and it takez a lot to get me pissed!!!)...i had to get the stupid thing out...so i opened my window and just struggled to make the bloody thing leave my curtain...but it was clinging to the curtain like a life line and with it my night shirt!!! i pushed it, shoved it...hell i even screamed at it..but no...the thing wouldnt let go... so for 15 minz i patiently without moving stood by the window..and slowly it let go and climbed out! Needless to say..until that window is fixed ..i aint opening it!
and then yesterday..i went with my uni friendz to Yorkdale...we were waitin for a friend to get done work and then watch a movie...so anywayz..at 8 we picked her up and then headed to the movies..watched X-men 3...amazin movie! first day show is crazy..i felt like i was in high skool...we were in a line up...but see my friend the absolute crazy movie buff made me buy the tix online the nite b4...so yea..we were there at 8:30 for the 9:30 show..standing in line..and doin silly thingz;) ahem ahem...(u know who does all the silly thingz!! muhahaha) the movie made up for it...awesome movie...and any of u who havent seen it yet...u have to wait till the credits end..that the finale! u cant miss it!
so we were goin down to pickering to my friendz house..and we saw a big suv limo with a bunch of pple in it...they all looked like high skool kidz so we figured they were comin back from the prom..so me bein on this high that I'm usually on, honked at them a couple of timez and waived at them...and they waived back..there were 2 cute white guyz screamin out somethin..but wutever..and then i sped and left..guess wut they did...they sped up..came on our side...and one of the guyz mooned us!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh......it was soo nasty! ewwwwwww.... i couldnt stop laffin tho....and i swear i was blushin... I've never been mooned b4!! I felt so stupid!
So yea..thatz couple of the highlightz of wutz goin on....i have lotz more...but u gotta call me to know em all:)
Luv YA'll :) February 05 Ready or not 2006...Here I AM!Wow...itz been a while since I've made an entry... Letz start of by wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!! So many thingz have happened itz hard to decide where to begin... I know a lot of u have lodged complaintz that i havent updated my blog...itz not that i dont have thingz to say..itz just that i've been bz with stuff...I've finally decided wut i wanna do with life!!! thatz one tension down...altho now the next tension is will i make it? I'm workin towardz it so guyz pray for me!
New Years for me this year was spent with my family....i took my lil baby cuzins downtown and well...letz just say my baby's enjoyed more than we did!!! there wasnt any fireworkz...just 2 or 3 crappy rocket thingyz!!! but obviously the kidz went berserk just seein that!!
Well...as most of u know i'm just bz studyin these dayz....i feel like a total nerd...I just pray that this will help get me in to the skool i really wanna go to!! (NOpe...NoT UofT...But UBC!!!) I spend my dayz either at a library or at Timmy's studying!... so yea all of u..PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!
I learnt a lotta thingz last year... It was the most hardest year for me...I was really down in the dumps ... confused.. lost..betrayed...u name it and i've been thru it....But I'm BaCk now!! yea yea... HOnestly...the most important thing that alwayz goes thru my head that my khalah (who i once adored so much) told me was that if u start something...finish it....even if the end result isnt what you wanted..but atleast you'll have the satisfaction that U tried ur best...and hey..who knowz...maybe at some other point in the future this result may actually have a positive affect....I truly believe that the beginning to anything is fixed and cannot be changed, but the end...has the capacity to alwayz change...depending on wut choices we make in life... I know itz a very Bollywood thing that I'm about to say..."This is only the Beginning...."
So Guyz....i hope this year begins for all of us with somethin to look forward to.... I'm waiting for good surprises this year....something that will bring the glow to my face that my friendz say i've lost.....and I hope all of u out there the best in happiness and health........

I know i promised agez ago that the picz will come soon...and here they are AT LAST!!!!!!!....My mammu's wedding - the first couple are from the manjay (maanyu)... the next from the sanchak mehndi...and then from the shaadi...then the valima...and then just house picz and picz from Ramoji film city...itz where a lot of the bollywood shootingz happen....itz really a cool place to go once....

September 01 Camp Nur - A weekend with the gyalz!!Past weekend was crazyyyyy.....Not only were we very religious...we had the time of our lives!! esp the nite b4 we left.. Shabbo rani did an amazin acting job!!!..hehehhe....letz start from the beginning
So..me, Romz & Marria got there on friday evening....had dinner.. prayed..and even did dhikr Allah....and after that was free time...since everyone was tired we called it a nite...next mornin ..we got up at 5 in the mornin for Fajr....it was Brrrrrrr...and the water was icy cold too!!....we prayed Fajr went back to our cabins and fell asleep till 9...got up for breakfast...and then the fun started....we went swimming...had soooooooo much fun...and then we did archery!!...yea yea...i was close to the bullseye only once!:( but yea it was fun...and then we were gonna go hiking but it started to rain so we just chilled....after dinner and prayers...we decided to kick out the guyz from the "prayer hall"...and have some fun among the girlz...we played murder..and then these girlz did the cutest skit ever....it was just hilarious!..and then we did some belly dancing!!yea yea...itz unbelievable that some hijabis can move like that!! damn they were hot....when we got back to our cabins...there were almost a dozen mattresses blocking the entrance to the cabin...we were so mad that the guyz pulled a trick...so we decided to pull one of our own prankz on them....BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER...but was soooo hilarious!!!....the plan was to scare the guyz by pretending to be ghosts (ok...it was the decoy...that wasnt the real trick!) and then while they attempted to run away one of the girlz pretended to fall and twist her ankle (wink wink...u know who u are!luv ya girl!)...and she had to cry loud enuf to wake up the dead....we all came runnin and asked wut happened...the boyz were just observin this situation from inside their cabins...our plan was to get them out so that the girlz who were hiding on the sides with pails of water could drench them... well...our plan backfired...the guyz didnt come out at all..they didnt trust us...even tho we were really convincing.. the girl even had fake tears in her eyes and all....but instead this annoyiin lil girl who started this whole fiasco of pranking (unfortunately who shares my name..and was such an obnoxious teen who didnt respect anyone) she was at the cabin door of the guyz tryin to convince them to come out....when we called her...the girlz on the side thought that the guyz were comin out..so they threw the water...it fell close to that girl (i know i'm evil when i say this but i really wished the water had drenched her!!!)...so..well...when we saw our plan fell apart and that the guyz couldnt stop laffing!!!..we decided for some stupid reason an emergency contingency plan...letz tie a rope from their door to the door opposite them so that they wouldnt be able to come out....and while some did that...others decorated the guyz cars with toilet paper!!!....we thought we were so clever...the guyz harassed us sayin that if we didnt open the doorz then on the Day of Judgement they will blame us for missin their fajr namaaz (wutever..since they missed it anywayz!!)...so out of guilt...we opened their doors...and others cleaned their carz!!!!sad eh!!
hehhehe....all in all...it was a fun trip....even tho our planz blew up big time in our faces and the guyz will never let us live it up....

August 25 My Best Friend's WeddingDont worry...the title kinda makez u wonder if this best friend is a guy and i may have a crush on him....itz not....Itz my best friend Ayesha...SHE GOT MARRIED!! yep this past weekend was the big event... I know i'm reportin this a lil late but couldnt help it...i'm still in denial!!! I've known Ayeshu since Grade 10...and altho we never saw eye to eye on anythin in the beginning....our friendship grew stronger around end of Grade 11....and Masha Allah we've been best friendz ever since....
Letz start from last week....Nour (I have 2 best friendz..the second one is this one) and I hosted the bridal shower...it was a surprise for Ayesha....remarkably we were able to keep it on the down-low from her for the entire week...and on the day of we went and picked her up ...got her dressed in this really cute pink outfit (the theme for the evenin was Mediterranean/gypsy) blindfolded (and also sneaked her sister and cousin in the back seat of my van without her awareness )... All the girlz were waitin in my basement which also had the whole mediterranean theme goin.... She was very surprised and the evenin turned out to be a huge success...we had lotz of fun..food...gamez and obviously the lingerie openin time......
And then last entire week i was bz practicin for her mehndi....we had all these dances to do and not enuf time...so whoever was free i would go to their house or they would come to mine and we would practice like crazy for a good 5-6 hourz....I have never gotten such an intense burn in my thighs (it felt GOOD!!) On the day of the Mehndi (friday August 19)... we headed to the hall in pickerin in my van with Ayesha....it was crazy traffic (thanx to the storm!)..ended up takin Hwy 407 all the way.....we got there around 8:30 or so....so everythin was runnin really late...our original plan was to kick out all the men after dinner and dance till the hall closed...but the men didnt wanna leave....at last it happenend and we danced like there was no tomorrow.. (we couldnt do 2 of our dances... I guess it was a good thing cuz they were a lil scandalous!!!! u know me!;)
Well...the weddin went beautifully..no glitches...except i think at one point Ayesha was goin to faint....she was a nervous wreck...but she looked gorgeous....and same thing on the valima.....but she was much more relaxed then...
Oh yea..on the weddin day they did the "Jootay Chuppai rasam" itz a lil tradition in which the bride's side take the guyz shoes and in order to get the shoes back the guy has to pay them...well...Ayesha's mom thought i would be great in a fite ( I dont know why..)...but yea..suffice it to say Umar (the groom's) cousin was acting very cheap...he gave Ayesha's sister $5 and said that he would give all the money in installmentz cuz they have never seen that kind of money b4! wutever...so i took the $5..and "vaared" over (itz when u take the money and circle it around the bride and groom to avoid the evil eye)...and gave that cousin his own money back and told him to get an ice cap cuz he needz to cool down....letz just say i got daggerz from the guy thru out the evenin!!
All in all..an amazin weekend...and more than that an amazin couple....I can only pray that all my friendz look as happy as Ayesha and Umar did on their Valima ...My heartfelt congratz go out to both the families and of course to my BEST FRIEND and my new Brother-in law.......May Allah Bless them with happiness & prosperity alwayz... Ameen....
August 01 Back from Hydro Land!!!Heyyy alll...I'm back from Hydro land....i was suppose to keep regular entries in this god-forsaken site but didnt get the chance down there....it was sooooooooo hectic....i had soooo much fun... but i'm done with biryani for the next 3 monthz!!! seriously....every nite party ....and food was biryani!!..
So how was TO while i was gone?? anythin new happened?? as for myself no I'm not engaged.... and yes i got proposals but till now my parentz havent approved so therefore nothin is happening..... But i'm glad...no guy got my attention there.... i hope i'm not becomin picky...thatz one of my biggest fears!!
I shall be posting pictures soon....got a ton of those....but sadly my camera broke thanx to my cuzin steppin on it...but all my other cuzinz had their digi camz so everythin is bein burnt on a cd and distributed between us....so soon...
Arite all...give me a shout soon....we have to start preparin for Ayshu's weddin as well...so gotta meet up soon...

Ask me bout the Shakira incident...itz quite funny!hehehhe June 08 I'm off to India....Yep guyz...i'm gonna be outta town for the next 2 monthz or so...unless ofcourse i get married and the guy doesnt wanna leave india!!;) Seriously...i'm excited...but scared already....my auntz and my parentz are adamant on gettin me atleast engaged....and our engagementz usually mean 2 monthz later a wedding is held for sure!!! Well wish me luck on that field... and if i come back hitched..plz dont hate me!!! hehehe....most likely that wont happen... I still have to meet a guy that will sweep me off my feet.... Well...it goes without saying....the moment i return we shall party and i shall fill this blog space up with picz.... I cant wait to get there and do some serious shopping!!!
